It also has six blinking lights located on the arm gauntlet and shoulder cannon assembly as well as one on the helmet. This costume has taken me a over a year and a half to assemble using mainly plastic parts from various things I have bought or found. I have built and worn many costumes and this one is probably the most fun because of people's reactions upon seeing me. Most people are either frightened and get out of my way or amazed and just stand there with their mouths open. ( When, all the while I am laughing inside.) I have won three costume contests with this suit. I don't really want to sell it but need the extra money to finish college. I stand at 6' 1" and am of an average to muscular build and weigh 205 lbs. The waist is a 34" to 36" fit. The suit consists of 11 pieces and coloration of the armor is a mottled gun metal to copper finish. There are: 2 hands, 2 feet, 2 knee armors, 2 gauntlets (one is attached to the helmet via a cable which controls the laser sights using a button on your right hand), Waist armor, Torso armor, and Helmet with dreads. The dreads are foam and I handmade the "beads" using ceramic clay and raku firing. I imprinted Yautja symbols around each one for that personal touch. I also hand made the spandex suit staining it in coffee and tea grinds as well as painted freckles to give it the look of mottled Predator skin. It has the classic "net webbing" sewn to it and has a slight shimmer to it. The total weight for the suit is around 30 to 40 lbs. The "blades" are made of durable plastic and there is also a removable hand-blade disc like in the 2nd Predator. I have been a huge predator fan since the first movie came out and continue to enjoy the on going saga of AVP (even though they are not quite as good).
