This menorah is leftover stock from the closing of my store, www.AccentsbyR.com.  It retailed for $165.00. The only word to describe this is Stunning!  This beautiful fused glass menorah is 11 1/2 inches by 8 inches.  The glass base is blue glass to which our artist has fused pieces of silver and brass glass creating a very beautiful design that would compliment most decors. The candle holders are hand crafted with pewter.  The menorah stand is also hand crafted with pewter. What a marvelous piece for The Holiday of Lights. About the artist: Sara and Michael Beames started Beames Designs! in 1990 in the beautiful Hudson Valley of New York. Sara is the driving force behind the glass design. Working with her hands always came naturally to her. At the age of 11 she was studying pottery in the local studio; by 17, she was a potter's apprentice. Sara was exposed to working with glass while completing her BA in Art History at San Francisco State University. During that time she was also involved in a study program of art in Mexico and was an intern at the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art. After graduating, she worked for both a non-profit arts organization as well as a commercial art gallery, and went on to work in Advertising and Graphic Design. All the while, her interest and love for all aspects of glass design only got stronger. Beames Designs! work is in galleries and craft shops throughout the US, as well as in Japan, Hong Kong, Australia and the Middle East. Special Collections include an ornament designed for the White House, Washington, D.C., as well as a sculpture of the Eternal Flame in the Kingston City Hall, Kingston, NY. Their goal in creating a line of fused glass giftware is that it be functional, aesthetically appealing, and accessibly priced.
