Description Adventure seeker seeks...funding! Most people wouldn't even think to vacation in Antarctica, but I want to take it one step further.  As an avid triathlete and distance runner, I'm hoping to make my way to the Lost Continent for their annual Half Marathon in March 2011.  **Very few spots remain for the 2010 race.  If funding can be secured quickly, I will register for the 2010 race** This race attracts runners from across the globe, each hoping to bring attention to a different cause.  Your sponsorship would guarantee exposure on a global level.  Imagine the impact of your logo as it passes penguins, seals, over glaciers and past research stations.  This eco system is a fragile one, one that needs to be protected and preserved.  The entire experience will be documented to meet your preferences - blog, video diary, etc. In addition to being the opportunity of a lifetime, this adventure is also an expensive one.  Here is where your sponsorship dollars will be going: -Airfare to/from Boston - Buenos Aires -Hotel accomodations in Buenos Aires -Airfare to/from Buenos Aires - Ushuaia -Accomodations onboard either the Loffe or Vavilov research vessel (to include meals, excursions, lectures, etc.) -Gear/equipment and race training -Race entry fee -Most importantly: your endorsement! Here's how the endorsement works: you can have accesss to my race attire to include my coat, shirt (in the event that it is warm enough to remove running coat), hat/headband, and pants.  I am open to suggestions.  If your company wants to provide me with their outdoor gear, even better! Ideally I'm hoping to represent a company with an eco-friendly message, as bringing awareness to the importance of stopping global warming and preserving our ecosystem is the reason for this adventure.
