It is ceramic, and has been glazed and hand finished and painted. Then a genuine red Garnet cabochon was set into the heart of the Pentacle. This one is made to use! It is not just for decoration! The glazing maks for easy clean up and even red wine & mead will not stain it, or leave a lingerring odor like some chalices!    It measures a goodly 7" tall and 4" wide across the top.
