B. Lippincott Company, Philadelphia" in 1905. Edited By Josiah Granville Leach.This hardcover first edition, first printing is in Very Good condition with many of its 278 indexed pages unopened. The hardcover is dark black-green cloth with gilt title on spine and gilt embossing on the front cover including a Celtic design. A few scuffs to the cover and bumped corners are shown in listing photos. The binding is in fine condition. The back cover has some small white flecks and purplish markings, shown in listing photos. The book has a colorful family crest fontis - shown - and is illustrated with foldout genealogical family trees and elaborate etched images.
